So, six weeks to go until a record number of artists descend on Hakodate. We used our staff meeting to get through work like rolling posters and making bilingual profiles. In the picture below, you can see our “TOK” (“Transfer of Knowledge”) presentation of things that we learnt from running our Opening Live. We are looking forward to the main event in August!
Planning for 2014 and 2015 continues apace. Core members met at the Machi Tsukuri Center. We debriefed the Opening Live Two day event from last weekend, and planned tomorrow’s staff meet. We have lots of things to announce tomorrow, and lots of data input work to do for the MoguFes, so staff members please bring a computer from 18:30.
Japan lost 2-1 in the Soccer World Cup on Sunday morning… But, we put the smiles back on peoples’ faces with the second day of our Opening Live Two-day event, including a far more enjoyable football experience:
Thanks to all our great groups!
For those who missed out this time, there is the chance to see Coloridas again in August. We think their Brazilian and samba rhythms will be a storm in Motomachi Park in the summer, as will their song “Draft Beer” . We also hope to see WMDF newcomers Kanran and WMDF veterans Chopiin back for our summer main event again some time very soon.
