Mime and physical artist with a dramatic style
Having been dancing from an early age, Barbara Murata was introduced to mime while a student at Waseda University. After graduating, she went on to study physical theater and mime at the Desmond Jones School of Mime & Physical Theater in England, entering the world of stage and street performance. Her dramatic style, which incorporates elements of dance, theater, and puppetry into mime, has been performed at many festivals, and also featured in TV shows and commercials.
