With Hide Kusumi on vocals and ukulele-banjo, Toshiko Kanno on accordion and chorus, and Mizuguchi Gucchi on chorus and found-object percussion, their style is light-footed, noisy, friendly, and ready for almost any setting, from nurseries and caf\u00e9s to care homes, street events, halls, and festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All three members are enthusiastic food-lovers, so their repertoire includes plenty of songs about eating, including \u201cHiyoko-mame no Uta\u201d and \u201cPolenta Polka.\u201d Somewhere between music, play, and small-scale street theatre, Micromus turns everyday appetite into cheerful sound.
