Takeda began his musical journey at seventeen, and in 1998 made his CD debut as part of a folk duo. After the duo disbanded, he established himself as a solo performer based in Hokkaido, taking the stage over 200 times a year across the country. In 2006, he formed the heartful rock &#8216;n&#8217; roll band THE \u6b66\u7530\u7d44 (THE Takeda-gumi). Whether performing solo or fronting the band \u2014 always dressed in his trademark red \u2014 Takeda pours every last ounce of himself into every song.
