The award recognised our bringing together of the peoples of different countries and our creation of a vibrant and lively (\u201cgenki\u201d) local atmosphere. Ceremonies were held in Hakodate and in Sapporo, and previous winners <a href=\"http:\/\/wmdf.org\/en\/artist\/jpn-009-komadaitomakomai\">Komazawa Tomakomai Symphony and Marching Band<\/a>, participated in the next edition of our event.<br \/>\n<!--<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-10499\" src=\"http:\/\/wmdf.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/DSCF1582-900.jpg\" alt=\"DSCF1582-900\" width=\"498\" height=\"374\" \/>--><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to all of our artists, especially those coming from overseas.
