Veterans of past festivals in Motomachi Park and our events during the pandemic, including our 24-hour online show, this duo performs with a humorous twist and boundless energy. Their live shows are a delightful mix of music and revelry, reminiscent of a lively night at an izakaya.
Kazuya Nishizawa captures the essence of everyday life with a unique perspective, delivering it through his ragtime and enka-inspired guitar playing. He calls his music “gap music” or “venture music,” sneaking into the gaps of your heart. Kanade Kuroda started playing the violin at five and, despite rebellious phases, supported “Kitaro” on tours in Japan and the U.S. at 26. She has since performed and recorded with many renowned musicians. As the behind-the-scenes boss of Choice-chan, she lives by the motto, “Today’s drink is for today; tomorrow is another day.”
Who could resist? Grab your own summer libation and join them for a celebration, embodying their lively spirit and motto.
