Headline additions to the site are the new Hub Stage and the “Jewel Box” red-brick warehouse, but also so much more, including AR characters and our first WMDF cookies (!)
Add to that our regular stages also pulling in the crowds, and you have a never-before-seen meeting of world cultures.

One-bay tournament format, 3-on-3 from semi-finals.
Contents subject to change depending on the number of participants.
Primary schools students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must be able to assemble their own Beyblades, set them in the launcher and shoot them.

WMDF 017 began with our staff jumping for joy, or perhaps dodging the last-minute chaos.
Don’t miss your chance to see the groups playing just the first half of the festival. Among many others, our friends Zahatorte from Kyoto have brought their patter and their accordion, and Kachimba have left behind the typhoon that cancelled their flights from Okinawa last year.
We exchanged gifts, stories, and even dance moves at the opening reception on the second floor of the historic “Polaris” festival headquarters building. The real performances are better still. Don’t miss out!
