WMDF and the Mogu Mogu Festival are brought to you by "Worlds Meet Japan". We are non-profit, and run by volunteers. Any proceeds of our event go to our work on transformational social and educational projects locally and internationally.
Another summer’s soiree mixing worlds in Motomachi Park. Zahatorte and Colombia, Venezuela, Chappy and more played the Atlas stage, and we returned to the historic outdoor Eudora plaza for the first time in 5 years.
Outeach events spread the spirit round town, and everyone has the chance to get their one-of-a-kind live-printed t-shirt. We are running for a full week, so everyone should be able to find a day that fits their schedule!
Headline additions to the site are the new Hub Stage and the “Jewel Box” red-brick warehouse, but also so much more, including AR characters and our first WMDF cookies (!)
Add to that our regular stages also pulling in the crowds, and you have a never-before-seen meeting of world cultures.
Thanks to our friends Indi Power from Taiwan for playing us out on the Bunda stage. If you couldn’t catch all this live, check out the digest video, and head down to the park for Day 2!
Multiple playgrounds will be set up in Perry Square for kids and kids at hearto enjoy physical activities to the fullest. In collaboration with SPORTS Hokkaido (Hokkaido University of Education, Hakodate)
