The Friday before the long weekend. We welcomed Kanamaru-jishi, Rikuo and 3 Gaga Heads. Our artists donned kimonos, went to Outreach locattions around town, and forged unique original collaborations.

The afternoon buzz gave way to the glow of stages where cultures from across the globe met and mingled. We look forward to even bigger possibilities — and crowds — over the final thee days.

Due to unavoidable circumstances, Tokyo “Suke3&Syu” have been forced to withdraw from their performance schedule at the festival this year (all dates). Apologies to all those who were looking forward to their return to our event: we ask for your kind understanding.

• 8/8 (Fri) 19:25 – Chara Stage: Nativa
• From 8/9 (Sat) onward, the stage schedule of Suke3&Syu will be taken up street performer Akira Kawahara will take up the mantle. More details will be announced here soon, but
